Welcome to the Notre Dame Speech and Debate Team
The Notre Dame forensic program reflects a long and rich tradition of excellence in art, argumentation, and authentic persuasion. For the 2026-27 school year, we are offering extemporaneous practice debates in the IPDA and BP format. All are welcome to debate, judge, or observe! In the future, we plan to return to competing in tournaments in multiple debate formats as well as individual speech events. We believe that raising your voice is a force for good in the world!
Current schedule:
TEAM MEETINGS: Mondays from 5:05 pm-5:55 pm in DeBartolo 125
TEAM PRACTICES: Mondays from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm, Thursdays from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm
